There are an estimated 153 million orphans worldwide.

Currently in the US, there are 443,000 children in foster care and 123,000  of those children are waiting for adoption. There is a great need for families to step up and say yes to adoption and foster care for the sake of the orphaned and vulnerable. However, in order for families to say yes, they often need a great support system underneath them, and that’s where Hope that Binds comes in. 

For more than 10 years, Hope that Binds has given adoption grants to families to help enable them to bring children home to a forever family. One by One, we have been able to play a part in children being adopted from all over the world and have seen over 100 children find the love of Christ in a  forever family. As we have grown, so have our grants and scholarships. In addition to our adoption grants, we now offer a post adoption care and counseling grant, student scholarship, and foster care support scholarship.

While not all of us are called to adopt or foster, Scripture commands us to care for orphans and widows in their distress. Scripture also says in Matthew 25:40 that whatever we do unto the least of these is actually done to Him. This work of caring for the orphan and the vulnerable is so close to the heart of God and how we choose to get involved is not just for the orphaned child, the vulnerable child, or the weak. It’s for Him. We want to invite YOU to join us in this mission of  empowering families to say yes to adoption and foster care by eliminating anything that might stand in their way!
